Lambton Loves Art!

The JNAAG’s First Crowd-sourced Exhibition

June 27 – September 14, 2014

An exhibition collectively created by our community.

The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery invites you to vote for your favourite works from the permanent collection for the summer exhibition Lambton Loves Art.  For the next two months, voting will be open and visitors to the site can choose from forty pieces pulled from the gallery’s permanent collection, grouped into four categories: landscape, portrait, abstraction and urban-scape. The pieces with the most votes will secure a spot in the exhibition. This unique project will transform how the Lambton County community engages with art by providing everyone with the opportunity to discover the exciting range of artists and work in our collection while getting involved in the formation of the exhibition at a grassroots level.

The JNAAG currently houses a permanent collection of over 1100 works that tell the continuing story of Canadian historical and contemporary art.

Voting takes place between March 7 and June 1. Vote as often as you like and be sure to visit the site often as the selection changes twice a week. Choose your favourite pieces and then view them in real life when the exhibition opens on June 27.
